FAQS

No. Chemvert is not a plugin and does not require any other software to run. You will only need the software that came with your scanner to acquire the source files.

The Chemvert Demo is limited to 30 days of use and places a watermark on preview and export images. Internet connectivity is required at each launch of the software.

No, Chemvert license keys never expire. Each purchase includes at least 2 future major version updates and all minor version updates for those versions.

Each license can be activated on one computer at a time. There is no limit to the amount of computers you can have the software installed on, but to use it on a different machine after activation, you will need to first deactivate the license by entering your email and license key into the Help > Deactivate this License menu of the main Chemvert application window.

Please note that each license key is only good for the operating system that matches the version purchased. Activation on additional operating systems requires a separate purchase.

If you completed the account setup process after your first purchase, you can login to your account and re-downlod the software and see all purchased license keys. If you don’t have an account, please contact us here and we can resend the order confirmation email with your download link and license key.

We are working hard to make the windows version available for purchase as soon as possible!

In Legacy Mode, several options will be disabled, including EXR file input, Auto Contrast, Film Base Lock/Save, as well as limited functionality of ignore borders with most film base detection options. The demo functions the same as the full release in this regard.

If you are using macOS version 12 Monterrey or newer, open Chemvert and go to Help > Install local image processor. Follow the instructions there by copying and pasting the code into the macOS terminal.

After installation is completed, navigate to the settings pane inside Chemvert and select Image Processor > User Installed.
